Software Engineers
Build software at the Core of Advanced Design programs! Programs supported range from Special Projects Engineering, Navy UCAS and Navy BAMS to Urban Warfare and Electronic Attack systems. You would be involved in full cycle software engineering from requirements verification through detailed development, integration and test of ground system, flight and mission critical embedded software.
Near term staffing activity will be focused on these areas:
Ground Control Segment (CGS) Applications
Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) /Event Driven Architecture (EDA) Development
Other areas of involvement could include:
- Aeronautical Applications (requiring DO-178B certification)
- Data Communications / Data Link Management

Low Observables Integration & Supportability Engineers
An emerging generation of Advanced Design Programs and Special Projects are offering dramatic challenges to low observables / signature management specialists. Current positions support Special projects Engineering in Palmdale, California.
In our Low Observables (LO) Supportability and Integration teams you could conduct tasks that include:
- Coordinating Application of LO Supportability Requirements into Designs and Manufacturing Processes
- Engineering Oversight to RCS Model Fabrication and Production Programs
- RCS Test Requirements Definition
- RF Based Test Equipment Design
- Test Support for Complete Structure and Component Level Testing

Flight Control, Guidance & Navigation Systems Engineers
As the portfolio of business at Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems continues to grow, we will be offering exciting opportunities to engineers with design, analysis, modeling, implementation, and test skills in the areas of: vehicle dynamics; simulation; flying/handling qualities analysis; guidance, navigation, control; and related embedded software and test functions for fixed-wing aircraft, rotary-wing aircraft, spacecraft, and lighter-than-air vehicles.
You would be involved in full-cycle systems architecture and systems engineering from requirements verification through detailed development, integration and test. Programs supported will range from Special Projects and Advanced Design Engineering to Global Hawk and the Navy UCAS.
Assignments will involve work in areas of:
- FCS/GNandC Requirements and Architecture Development
- Flight Dynamics and Control
- Control Law Design and Analysis
- Aeroservoelastic (ASE) Control
